  Delightful cottage accommodation that is tastefully modern yet set in historic buildings. Our hosts are lovely people who are extremely helpful as we found our feet on arrival. Very peaceful - no traffic noise - only the sounds of the birds and the curious stares of a couple of fat horses in the adjoining paddock. The cottages are generously provisioned on arrival with bowls of local fruit, milk , bread, biscuits and local honey as well as complimentary toiletries. Kitchens are provisioned with rolls of paper towels, cling wrap and alfoil as well as washing up detergent, salt and pepper and other basics. There are laundry facilities with a drier as well as outside line and complimentary washing detergent. A lovely touch is fresh hibiscus flowers on bedside tables on arrival. Linen is changed weekly. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and we have all slept very soundly. Nothing needs to be locked including the hire car or the front door. Even at Burnt Pine you don't have to lock the vehicle when you leave it to shop. Nobody does and it is like things used to be in other age and time. I highly recommend Hamish's Cottages!
